Whitewater Junction Water Park

Located in Rock Island’s Longview Park, Whitewater Junction is a great place to take the kids in the hot summer months for fun and relaxation. The water park has a wide range of water slides and other types of water activities for the whole family. Swimming lessons are available, serious swimmers can swim laps in the exercise area, and there are water activities for kids of all ages.

Sunset Marina

Rock Island’s Sunset Marina is a hub of activity in the warmer months and offers boating enthusiasts docking space for 473 boats 16 feet to 60 feet in length. Sunset Marina features 250 acres of woodlands to explore along the river’s edge, a 50-acre protected lake, a biking and jogging path, a picnic area and much more!

The District

Located along the river in downtown Rock Island, The District is the Quad Cities’ arts and entertainment headquarters and has a wide range of music festivals and cultural events all year 'round. There are also architectural and historical walking tours for people interested in exploring the area’s rich history. Home to many of the Quad City area’s hottest nightclubs, restaurants, and live music venues, there’s always something cool happening in The District!
