  • KQWC, TV-6,the local NBC affiliate, broadcasting from Davenport

Moline Newspapers

The Moline Dispatch is a daily paper printed in Moline, Illinois. Together with the Rock Island Argus, and The Leader, another Quad Cities newspaper, the Dispatch has formed Quad Cities Online, which is an electronic version of a standard newspaper. QCOnline also publishes the Radish, a health and lifestyle monthly magazine. For standard newspapers, a couple of publications from Davenport fit the bill:

  • Quad City Times: Owned by Lee Enterprises, the Quad City Times publishes daily.
  • River Cities Reader: An independent free newspaper, established in 1993. The Reader was published weekly until January 2008, when it switched to a bi-weekly format, supplemented by expanded online services. It features strong coverage of local news, arts and the music scene.

Moline is part of the greater Quad Cities radio market, which has approximately 300,000 listeners according to Arbitron. Stations from Davenport and Rock Island as well as the surrounding communities are listened to by the residents of Moline.
